Description

Dragons rest camp is 11kms outside Underberg on R617tar road. Ideal stop over fort the Cape, Wild Coast or Lesotho via Sani pass.The camp has panaramic views of the Southern Drakensberg and is situated 12 minutes from Underberg where shops and restaurants can be used.

There are 10 campsites for caravans and plenty of sites for tents. Dragons rest is a working farm and has dams with trout. Fly-fishing rods available  for hire as well as boats

Clean neat ablution facilities and safe clean drinking water (malaria free area.)

As it is working farm, there is plenty of space for kids to ride bikes,work livestock and drive tractors with our Friendly staff supervising. Trips up Sani pass, fly-fishing, canoeing and fly fishing clinics or fly-fishing lessons done at dragons rest. All other activity bookings in area done by Big Sky Safaris (REGISTERED TOUR OPERATOR AND OUTFITTER/PH operating from Dragons Rest.

We also have a self catering unit 1double on suite, 2 single beds

Also 5x5 army tent with 1 double bed & 1 double bunk

The Recreational room is situated close to the ablution block

Reception area includes TV, recreational facility, meals on request (prior to arrival)

Antelope, Zebra and jackal roam freely on or around farm. We also offer walking or hiking up Mount Dragon from the farm and in the evenings excellent star gazing

Dam safe for fishing, swimming and boating 100meters from campsite
