Chestnut Cottage is set in the beautiful gardens of the main homestead, you can choose Self-catering or B & B, offering 3 Luxury en-suite bedrooms, lounge,dinning room,pool table in bar area, DSTV , fully fitted kitchen, swimming pool & horse riding. Serviced once a day. Pack your binoculars as this 3800 acre farm boasts abundant farm animals & numerous species of indigenous wildlife and bird life, which roam the mountains. 6 Km's of river frontage stocked with brown trout, one dam with rainbow trout and one dam with bass. Approx 2 hours from Durban and 6 from Johannesburg. There are Restaurants in the area and golf in Underberg. You can also do a day trip up Sani Pass. Passports essential.

Directions

From Durban on the N3 take the R617 near Merrivale that will take you through Boston to Bulwer then Underberg. In Underberg turn right towards Himeville. Continue straight until the tar road becomes dirt and continue for a further 8 km’s until you come to a one-way bridge. Cross the bridge and turn left immediately into the BURNBRAE Farm driveway.
