| The Giant's Cup trail meanders through lovely grassland valleys in the foothills of the Drakensberg. Six rivers surge through the valleys and the overnight huts are all near to water. The Giant's Cup, the cup shaped mountain after which the trail is named, dominates the horizon on the first two days. Hikers can expect to see mountain reedbuck, grey duiker and oribi, and the mountains are also home to many raptors, including black eagle, bearded vulture and mountain buzzard. The hike ends at Bushman's Nek. |
